Privacy Policy
This policy explains what Anipix collects, why we collect it and how you can control it. It applies to anipix.net and its subdomains (for example br. or the language variants).
Account data: when you create an account we store the username, display name, an e-mail address if you provide one, links to your avatar and banner, your interface preferences and a hash of your password (scrypt, never the password itself).
Activity data: reading progress, favorites, votes, collections and claim history are stored with your account so the features work across devices. Comments use a third-party widget (The Anime Community) that has its own privacy policy.
Technical data: like any website, our infrastructure (Cloudflare) records IP address, browser type, requested pages and timestamps in access logs used for security and abuse prevention. Analytics (Google Analytics 4, property G-DSC97LR4D1) receives aggregated usage data with IP anonymization enabled.
Advertising: ads are served in isolated frames by third-party networks. Today the main unit is A-Ads, which serves contextual advertising. If Google AdSense/Ads is enabled, ad cookies and identifiers are set only when you accept them in the cookie banner (Consent Mode v2); rejecting keeps ad_storage, ad_user_data and ad_personalization denied.
Retention and security: account data is kept while your account exists, access logs for about 30 days and aggregated analytics for up to 14 months. Traffic is HTTPS-only, passwords are hashed, and database access is limited to the operators of the site. No system is perfect: if you find a vulnerability, report it by e-mail.
Your rights: you can ask for a copy, correction or deletion of your data, withdraw consent at any time and object to processing. Requests are answered within 30 days. Depending on where you live (LGPD in Brazil, GDPR in the EU) you may also complain to a data protection authority. Contact us at [email protected].
